Background Deployment is a utility which allows you to deploy background images to Cisco phones from anywhere with network connectivity.

The Background Deployment Tool provides the ability to create groups of phones to receive images, groups can encompass individual devices, device pools, locations, partitions, calling search spaces and extensions or extension ranges.

A simple image editing interface lets you crop and zoom, flip and rotate any image to the correct file format and dimensions for the different phone models.

Easily integrate your images into the server list.xml file with the ability to upload the list and images built into Background Deployment.

An advanced scheduling engine allows you to deploy the image to thousands of phones as fast as your network will allow.

With the official Cisco Phone Designer no longer supported, Background Deployment 3.1 is the perfect replacement!

Background Deployment supports the following Models :
(7906, 7911, 7941, 7942, 7945, 7961, 7962, 7965, 7970, 7971, 7975, 8961, 9951, 9971 and Cisco IP Communicator)

The Installation package includes grey and color sample images.

Background Deployment can deploy using either the personalization method or by simulating the user pressing the buttons on the phone to set the background.

Personalization is non invasive and can be used while phones are in use for an image on Call Manager TFTP or an image on your local machine.
